Dr. Chelsea Reinert is a highly respected practitioner of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, known for her compassionate and comprehensive approach to women’s health, fertility, and perinatal care. She is board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed to practice in both New Jersey and New York.

As the founder of Moon Acupuncture in Monmouth County, Dr. Reinert combines her clinical expertise with a deep passion for helping women feel supported, empowered, and well throughout every stage of their reproductive journey—from preconception and fertility support to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond.

Dr. Reinert specializes in natural fertility care, using acupuncture, massage therapy, and herbal support to regulate cycles, balance hormones, support IUI/IVF preparation, and enhance overall reproductive health. She offers a gentle, integrative approach that addresses not just physical symptoms, but the emotional and energetic shifts that come with trying to conceive.

During pregnancy, she provides personalized prenatal care to ease common discomforts, reduce stress, and prepare the body for labor. After birth, Dr. Reinert offers postpartum acupuncture and doula support to assist with healing, emotional balance, lactation, and pelvic floor recovery.

One of her unique specialties is pelvic floor dry needling, making her one of the few acupuncturists on the East Coast with advanced training in this powerful modality to treat postpartum pelvic pain and dysfunction.

A Background Rooted in Excellence

Dr. Reinert earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in New York, and her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. Her early training focused on orthopedics and sports medicine, but her passion for women’s health and maternal care led her to specialize in supporting the full spectrum of reproductive health.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Reinert has worked in leading medical institutions including NYU Langone Medical Center’s Initiative for Women with Disabilities and The Fortune Society. She also served at Fort Hood, Texas, as part of the Army Civilian Corps and was awarded the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service for her work in pain management and rehabilitation.

As the spouse of a veteran, she maintains a strong connection to the military community and continues to support veterans with chronic pain, PTSD, and autoimmune disorders using integrative, holistic care.
