Dr. Chelsea G. Reinert, DAOM, L.Ac., is a distinguished practitioner specializing in Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, with a profound dedication to women's health, fertility, and comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care. Board-Certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), she holds licenses to practice Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Reinert is also a licensed massage, childbirth Educator, and birth and postpartum doula.

Her extensive educational background includes a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York, and a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.

Dr. Reinert's graduate studies focused on acupuncture for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, yet her passion for women's health led her to specialize further in this area. Certified as a childbirth educator & birth and postpartum doula, she provides unique support to expectant mothers through pregnancy, labor, and childbirth. Her approach includes personalized prenatal care, addressing each woman's distinct needs during this transformative period. Dr. Reinert excels in fertility care, guiding women on their journey to conception. She is also one of the few highly trained acupuncturists on the east coast skilled in pelvic floor dry needling, offering effective treatment for pelvic floor conditions.

In her practice, Dr. Reinert provides specialized postnatal care, supporting mothers during the crucial postpartum period. She adeptly addresses both physical and emotional challenges that may arise after childbirth, ensuring optimal recovery for mother and baby.

Beyond women's health, Dr. Reinert specializes in treating various musculoskeletal conditions causing acute and chronic pain. Dr. Reinert's commitment to healthcare extends to her service at Fort Hood, Texas, with the Army Civilian Corps, where she received the Achievement Medal Award for Civilian Service from the Department of the Army. Her exemplary performance as a Licensed Acupuncturist in the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center underscored her dedication to patient rehabilitation.

Previously, Dr. Reinert contributed significantly to programs at New York University Langone Medical Center, including the Initiative for Women with Disabilities, providing acupuncture to manage pain, medication side effects, and chronic illness symptoms. She also administered the NADA Protocol at The Fortune Society, aiding incarcerated individuals in their transition back into society.

As a spouse of a veteran, Dr. Reinert has a personal connection to working with Veterans, particularly those managing chronic pain and other conditions like PTSD, TBI, and autoimmune disorders. She continues to be fascinated by the practical effectiveness of Chinese Medicine in providing relief from a wide range of ailments.
